You might notice that eating certain foods make you feel better. These are also ways to help fight body inflammation. In addition, you may also realize that eating foods such as sugar make you feel worse. It is important to learn which foods trigger your inflammation and reduce your intake.

Check with your doctor to learn about treatment options and discuss your symptoms. There are many more symptoms that a person can experience such as skin rashes, eye inflammation, hair loss, dry mouth and fever.

Some of us here at CelebNFood247 have issues with inflammation. I myself, kept hearing how beef broth was healthy for us but of course like most, just dismissed it. I have made some recently and it really made me feel better. I am one of the staff that suffers from inflammation. I made the broth as I had the flu and much to my amazement, it made my body feel better and broke my fever.

If you are a non-believer, just give beef broth a chance and the following list of foods that reduce inflammation.

Add some or all of these to your diet to help fight body inflammation:

· Green leafy vegetables such as swiss chard

· Bok Choy

· Celery

· Beets

· Broccoli

· Blueberries

· Pineapple

· Salmon

· Bone Broth

· Walnuts

· Coconut Oil

· Chia Seeds

· Flax Seeds

· Turmeric

· Ginger

You can do simple things such as a smoothie with blueberries, pineapple, chia seeds and flax seeds added to your other favorite fruits with ice and juice blended together as an example.

· Use coconut oil to cook with in place of butter or oil

· Top salads with walnuts and celery

· Add turmeric and ginger to your cooking

· Eat more of the veggies listed

· Make a beef bone broth and add may of the items you like

Try the Chew’s Michael Symon’s Beef Bone Broth:


· 1/4 cup olive oil

· 6-7 pounds beef bones (shin, knuckle, neck, marrow, oxtail)

· 15 cups water (or enough to cover bones)

· 2 onions (peeled, halved)

· 4 carrots (peeled and tops removed, cut into 1-inch pieces)

· 1 head garlic (sliced in half widthwise)

· 1 bundle fresh thyme

· 1 bunch parsley

· 3 bay leaves

· 1 tablespoon black peppercorns

· 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

· 2 tablespoons Himalayan salt

· turmeric (freshly grated, to garnish)

· ginger (freshly grated, to garnish)

· 1 lemon (juiced)

· freshly ground black pepper (to taste)


  • Preheat your oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
  • Lay out the beef bones in an even layer on a prepared sheet tray. Lightly drizzle with olive oil and roast until deep golden brown, about 45 minutes. Transfer the roasted bones to a large stock-pot and cover with water. Add the vinegar and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook, skimming and discarding the fat, for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, add onions, carrots, garlic, thyme, parsley, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and salt. Continue to cook over low heat for 12-14 hours, skimming the surface of fat as necessary.
  • Strain broth through a fine mesh strainer and add desired amounts of freshly grated turmeric and ginger. Stir in lemon juice and season with pepper. Ladle into bowls and serve!
  • Tips: For the most health benefits, use grass fed organic bones and organic vegetables. Add mushroom stems or whole mushrooms to broth for extra nutrient boost.
